Built on founding principles of simplicity, transparency and illumination, GLO-BUG is Mercury’s prepay electricity brand that allows you to see, understand and manage your household energy like never before. The initial brief included naming the new brand, designing its identity and creating launch communications in a concentrated two month timeframe - with Christmas thrown in for good measure. Subsequent work has involved a 2nd generation brand identity and on-going communications. Projects have ranged from in-home display design and graphics, pack design, direct marketing campaigns, events, incentive activities and retail P.O.S. The result is a bright and vibrant young brand that shines in an otherwise tired sector.
Our involvement with the Bullseye brand started back in early stages of NPD, when a range of gaming concepts were being considered for introduction. We helped with name generation and concept designs and descriptions to assist consumer research. The Bullseye concept scored well and was earmarked for development. Concept refinement was followed by more accurate product descriptions and the beginnings of a brand identity design. The trick was to establish a logo that sat comfortably within NZ Lotteries extensive family of brands, yet had its own unique personality.The resulting identity positions Bullseye as a fun and lively brand with a distinct consumer proposition.
The Bulleye online gaming product launched in October 2009.
